I visited National Junior College (NJC) Open House on 18 October.
This school is really patriotic - red and white everywhere.
There're 2 things amazed me when I visited NJ.
1st - young looking boys/ girls visited the open house, together with their parents.
I thought it's an open house... to secondary school students?! But why on earth they are there?! Oh... later then I realised that it's actually NJ offered Integrated Programme (IP) to P6 students. NJ is one of those few JCs that offered through train programme so that they don't have to sit for O levels and take the A level straightaway when they are in their 6th year.
Hmm... it must be very stressful to study in such competitve environment...
2nd - I was rather baffled by one of the store owners.
I ordered chicken cutlet that comes with fries and some vege. I've never liked to eat fries, except Macdonald's and Mos Burgers' ones.
Me: "Can I change from fries to potatoes?"
Auntie: "NO".
Me: "Can you give me meshed potatos and I PAY for it?"
Auntie: "NO"
=.= ...
Eventually I polised up everything, except leaving a pile of fries behind.
What a waste!
But, anyway, it's not a waste to visit the Open House. :)
