Where is the Yuki Yaki?

Sometimes back I have posted about making ice-cream by myself "in Eat, eat and mor eating" psot on 19April. Some of my students are very anxious to know where that place is ...

The place is called ....

Yuki Yaki !!

The address is:
03 - 210
Marina Square

Tell: 6338 9680

It's an ideal place for friends gathering. Everyone will be happily cooking a big sumptuous Do - It - Yourself Teppanyaki steamboat dinner ... and before you leave the shop with a big tummy, you will never want to fill up your "dessert compartment" by eating ice-cream buffet! And the most amazing part is , you have gotta 'COOK" YOUR OWN ICR - CREAM!

Here is a quick revision on how to MAKE YOUR OWN ICE-CREAM! :D

pouring the liquid - ice - cream into the pan

Choose your favourite liquid ice-cream from and then pour it into the clean pan

busy cooking ice cream

Keep on stir frying once it becomes hardened. It's a very fast process! So hurry! :D

After few attempts, Ta-darn! It looks a bit wet though.

i've never felt disappointed before

Yesterday my ex-student taught me the correct word to describe how I felt (that is reflected in yesterday's post) is not angry, but disappointed.

Yes,i think i felt disappointed, with myself & the students exactly.

Have told them how i felt this morning and hoping tat they know they're in d wrong.

And i certainly don't want such thing happen again 'cos is indeed disappointing.

Today i'm supposed to have another group of students to see me at 1.30pm.

Three of them DIDN'T TURN UP!

One of them wasn't in school. Two of them were found chit chatting in the canteen! I asked them why they're not meeting me.

One said I sms the meeting was yesterday, and not today. So meaning he belonged to the yesterday's group of pple?! The other said... I Couldn't remember what he said!

Wah.. I just felt very very very frustrated.

Partially is because one of my 4T students told me tat he has bought the materials for his project and asked me when he can start practical!

I was like ... ... How come he's asking and none of the 4n4 is asking?!?!

When i'm writing this,my heart is sinking, sinking and sinking. I've never had this feeling for long time.

Is like i'm busy thinking how their proj should work,and they don't even ask. Or they think still ve alot of time in the world.

Perhaps i take things too seriously.

It's their coursework and how come i worry more than them?

Their projects are little bit more complex than others. So I should focus on them first. That's what I thought.

Today, finally I've come to my senses.

Now i just tell myself tat i should focus on those who ask for help. And i feel more appreciated.

Perhaps the issue is i WANT TO FEEL APPRECIATED and I want to see them trying.

Or I would say, today is just not my day.

I'm still feeling upset. :(

pissed off day

There're few pple I couldn't stand. One of those is Pple who cancel the appointments without informing the other party.

Here the story...

3pm- Appointment is fixed in advance. i've prepared all the necessary stuff. Getting ready myself immediately,straight came back from the sec2 camp...

Then i was told by my colleagues tat "your students have went home."

WHAT? WENT HOME??!!

I TELL U... I'M FUMING MAD...

My students wanted 2 discuss d material list with Mr. R but he isn't in office. So mr. K asked them 4 d drawing. They didn't have any, n only 1 person has an A3 file. The rest didn't have any. So they're told to go back n they Really went back!

Hello!i'm meeting 4 of u!in d 1ru place r u meet9 mr. r?! Did u fix any appointment wif him?!

I'M THE ONE WHO IS MEETING U! THE REASON I MEET U ALL IS COS OF D DESIGN N TELL U HOW 2 COME OUT WIF THE MATERIAL LIST! U MEET MR.R 4 WHAT?!

The progress is already slow. Perhaps you don't know how FAST you are.

JJ,you mentioned to me that it's an extra effort from me. Now when I think back, yes,it is indeed extra effort. However, at tis point of time,i'd consider it as a wasted effort.

Perhaps i should just go to Zara straight from work today.

my-voices.com

I've never liked writting 'cos my fingers works faster than the brain and can't tolerate myself thinking so long on what to write! Ironically, I've found solace (comfort) through wrtting now, in my blog :) *shy*

Perhaps, I'm getting more emo day by day.

Yes, I do emo at times ok 'cos I'm a human being. Morevoer, I'm a female! The higher chance of getting emo, especially when comes that "monthly-thing"!

Have you ever get emo over yourself easily? After a long day of work/study, just feel completely drained out; sometimes angry over myself and doubt my ability when I couldn't do one thing right,or have upset someone whom I love,or I hate myself of not showing concerns to others or have some hidden and unresolved issues with my friends or family... blah blah blah...

Perhaps some of you are also feeling ver emo right now. Wanna try expressing your feelings
at this website that is created by me :

Or feel that the whole world is against you,
Or feel that no one understands you,except yourself,
Or feel that the world is unfair to you,
Or feel that the whole world owns you billion dollars,

Or you'd just simply want to share something happy but you think no one cares to listen,
Or no one is there to support you when you're down,
Or no one is there for you when you have your glory moments.

You don't need to post your name. Just put a fake name.

Or I should say ...

Share with us and there's someone out there care to listen to you.

A breakdancing dog

Want to know how to breakdancing? Learn from Snowy :) She must have watched "Step up 2" with her owner at home and secertly practiced the dance steps.

Happy watching.

When we are young ...

My 10-months-old nephew, Shun, has learnt how to stand up by himself. Everytime when he stood up, his family will be clapping and encouraging him to stand up again.

When we're young, we will receive praise for every little thing we did.
The first time we opened our eyes to this world;
The first time we made eye contacts with our parents;
The first sound that we made;
The first time that we ate;
The first time we tried to hold other's fingers;
The first time that we attempted to sit up;
The first time that we fell down;
The first time we stood up by ourselves;
The first time we wore clothes;
The first time we brush teeth;
The first time we tie shoe laces.
... ... ...

When we grow up, the chances of us getting praises are lesser.

We are expected to do things correctly. If we do our work right, no one says anything or the most is just merely a "good job" or "well done".

But once you didn't do it right, people from everywhere will start pointing fingers at you or putting you down. Or worst is backstab you.

I just can't help but wonder, why?

I just wish that I'm treated like Baby Shun.

A Walk with Snowy

My husband and I both love dogs. However, I have a little problem, which is, I don't dare to touch the dog.

I had many scary encounters with BIG DOGS when I was young. My legs would turn jelly when I saw them. They liked to sniff or lick my kneelcap when I was sitting down / standing up. Or they would always like to follow me.

But of course not all dogs are BIG and SCARY, there are exceptions. Ta darn! This little white fur ball! She belongs to my cousin.

Snowy the white fur ball SNOWY!

Recently my husband and I strolled with her near our neighborhood. She must wear her doggy clothes or else won't leave the house! : )

We decided to walk down the staircase. However, something happened ...

02052008172

Snowy is afraid of height! She just rested on the staircase and didn't want to walk! So my husband had to carry her and took a lift eventually.
scared of height!

Time for a walk, fur ball ! She's so excited until she ran (but perhaps she's so tiny and my husband's so tall. His 1 step equals to her 10steps, may be!):) Look at the sky. It's still bright.
Walk the dog

But just barely 5 - 10mins walk, the sky turned dark and Snowy paused again. She needed to rest on the seat. :)

closed up view of Snowy "Hey... I'm very tired le..."

Snowy resting again

Time to drag the little fur ball to the park. But we needed to climb a flight of stairs whereby Snowy paused again...
tired snowy tired snowy

Finally, the little white fur ball managed to climb a series of stairs and almost "rolled" down another when we were walking down.
Taking 1 step at a time

SEE! Look at the sky now! It's dark! And is actually just a 10mins-walk away from my block and eventually became closed to a 30-mins walk for Snowy. : )
Snowy is tired "Finally reached the park!tired...tired.."

After a 10mins- run (for Snowy), she needed to rest again and her bell nearly came out.
Hooking the bell "I want to sleep..."

Perhaps Snowy didn't do a proper stretching prior to the "run"... So she had to do a post - stretching when she reached back her home.

Snowy standing on her little pawls S. T. R. E. T. C. H!!!!!!

After close to 1-hour-walk with Snowy, we discovered that walking with Snowy is like walking with a little 2 year-old-child. We have to slow down because she can't catch up with us. When we were walking with her, we have to make sure she didn't sniff the lamp post for too long for fearing that she liked other dogs' smells or worst which is wanted to pee or poopoo there or wanted to find out who the dog is (she has mensus now!)! When Snowy pants, we once again need to pause and check if she is ok and fear that the walk becomes too tiring for this 6months-old-fur ball.

It makes me realise if I've paused for my students when they need help. When Snowy needs to rest, she will pant and lie flat on the floor. Then my husband will massage her gently on her back. It's her way of showing "I'm tired and need rest."

But how about my students? If you don't say anything, I really don't know what you are thinking. Tell me directly, ok?

Meanwhile, it's time for us to walk Snowy again. : )

Who is the prettiest teacher in the school?

During Value Education, my cheeky students asked me " who is the prettiest teacher in the school?"

Without hesitation, I answered "Of course is ME!". They broke into laughters. (Am I that bad?!)

Dear readers and especially 4N4 folks, I forgot to add this statement after my answer -" Of course is ME... that is when all the female teachers are not in school and I'm the only one left."

: )

Have a good day and study hard for your Mid Year Exam. Take care.
